Just wanted to say "THANK YOU" for all the suggestions that were provided when I asked about the best way to deal with 2.5 million rows of data. The solution I decided on, and which works quite nicely, was to simply rename (and drop) tables as needed. This allows me to have the latest data and a copy of the previous version of the data. In addition, I can just switch table names if I need to go back.
